BBQ Championship

Smoke on the Shores BBQ Championship will take place in Nashville on March 14-15, 2025. This KCBS sanctioned BBQ competition will host 100 professional teams and 50 backyard teams from around the country. Professional teams will compete in (4) categories for a purse of $10,000 in cash and prizes. Backyard teams will compete in a threeo (3) meat comp (chicken, ribs, & pork) and the purse will be over $5,000 in cash and prizes.

*We are required to file 1099 forms with the Internal Revenue Service for the 2024 tax year for all teams receiving more than $600 in cash/prizes. Each team will be required to complete the 1099 forms prior to receiving funds.

*Entry fee includes both Friday and Saturday night stays. Teams requesting to arrive on Thursday will have an extra $25 fee. And, any/all teams are welcome to stay over Saturday evening and depart on Sunday.
