SPRINGER MOUNTAIN FARMS CHICKEN CHALLENGE

Smoke on the Shores kicks off Friday night with the Springer Mountain Farms Chicken Challenge. Professional and backyard teams will compete for $1,500 in cash and prizes. KCBS members earn points toward Chicken Team of the Year, and the winner receives an invitation to the Chicken Finals at the KCBS World Invitational. Competitors must provide their own meat and pass a mandatory meat inspection.
